Is there an animal here that you just love, but are unable to adopt. Why not sponsor this animal? For a $20.00 monthly donation, you can sponsor one of the homeless animals at the humane society. This gift will be used to purchase food, toys, treats, vaccinations, or anything else this animal would need. Your name would be placed on his/her cage card as well as a thank you in our quarterly newsletter.
|
|
|
This fund is to help the homeless animals with special needs. This will help us raise money to provide care for animals that we would not normally have the funds to care for, such as a dog or cat hit by a car or that has a treatable illness. We would really like to help every animal but we can't do it with out your help. 100% of all donations we receive will be spent on veterinary care and rehabilitation; there will be no administration costs.

Sponsor-A-Cage
Nobody likes a cage. But for an animal on the streets
aboandoned, hungry, hurt, and/or abused, a cage is a
welcomed safe haven
|
As a sponsor, your contributions will help provide care, shelter, and most of all, hope for a new life to these wonderful animals
who wait for a second chance at love and a second chance at the dream of a loving home.
Yearly Sponsors: $250.00/year or $20.00/month
At the humane society, we will affix a plaque engraved with the sponsor's name to a sponsored cage. Sponsorships can bear your name, your company's name or the name of a loved one or pet.
We will also add a thank you on our website and in our Paws n Tails newsletter.

"The spaying of one female cat can mean the prevention of 29 litters over a period of ten years. No one can guess how many litters can be prevented by the neutering of a male. We have heard it said by knowledgeable people in the field that a male cat on the loose can sire as many as 2,500 kittens in a year and a male dog just as many puppies"
-UNITED HUMANITARIANS
The "Sponsor - A - Spay" program is designed to help us offset the costs of spaying and neutering humane society animals, thus preventing more litters from being born to unwanted and unavailable homes.

For a pet caregiver, the loss of an animal friend can be one of life's
most difficult experiences. In memoriam gifts for beloved animals, devoted companions who give us their unconditional love can be made to the Lakeland Humane Society, to honor the memory of a pet. A plaque will be placed on a memorial board in the humane society.

Husky Community Rebate Program
|
Now it's easier than ever for LHS volunteers/members to financially support the Lakeland Humane Society (LHS) year-round. The LHS will issue a special Husky Community Rebate magnetic stripe card to you once requested. Then, every time you make a purchase* at a participating Husky or Mohawk station, ask the attendant to run your Community Rebate card through the card-reader. It costs you nothing! Husky will automatically register the value of all the eligible purchases* you make, and send a payment for 2% of the total to LHS. The funds received by LHS will be used to fund our ongoing programs.

Open your home and your heart, you will be making a difference for many homeless animals. Foster homes are needed to temporarily house our animals until a permanent home can be found through pet adoption.
These animals are either too young, need further socialization, or have a treatable illness requiring special attention which prevents them from
being adoptable candidates at this time. For more info call 594-1896 or
email: info@lakelandhumanesociety.org
